Sidiki Dembélé Ensemble

The Sidiki Dembélé Ensemble brings together a collective of virtuoso West African musicians, each classically trained and deeply rooted in the musical traditions of their homeland. In 2024, the ensemble collaborated with Sinfonia Cymru on Yiriba — a ground breaking project that seamlessly wove together European classical and West African classical forms, expanding the boundaries of cross-cultural performance. In August 2025, the ensemble appeared at the prestigious Edinburgh International Festival, delivering a powerful performance that showcased their unique blend of musical traditions to international acclaim.
