Brainstorm ideas for a more inclusive Wingecarribee Shire!
Council is developing a new Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP), and this is your chance to have a say in making our community better for everyone!
Meredith from Council will be joining us to hear your thoughts on Access and Inclusion.
There will be a gentle creative activity on offer at the same time if you would like to participate.
We will talk about a range of topics, including:
• Changes to help make public spaces (Council buildings and parks etc.) more accessible
• What Council could do to help promote greater understanding and acceptance of people with disability
• Barriers to employment for People with Disability in our Shire
• Barriers to accessing information from Council
Bring your ideas, experiences, and energy – your voice matters in creating a place where all feel welcome.
EVERYONE can participate:
• People with Disability
• Carers and families
• Local service providers
• Community organisations
• Community members
