Next up in our Friday Film Series—presented in collaboration with the Moses Lake Creative District—is a holiday B-movie that’s so bad, it’s absolutely out-of-this-world: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964)!
🎅👽 Why are the Martians kidnapping Santa?
Because their kids won’t stop binge-watching Earth TV… and apparently the only solution is to bring Santa to Mars. Chaos, camp, and cosmic cheer follow.

This sci-fi holiday “classic” is packed with retro space suits, wild characters, and 1960s charm. It’s weird, it’s wonderful, and it’s the perfect kickoff to our Christmas-in-Space celebration.
