About the Event
Returning: A Somatic Yoga Retreat with Erin Mulligan
September 26–28, 2025
This weekend is an invitation to slow down, tune in, and return to the intelligence of your body. Through somatic movement, breathwork, creative process, and rest, we’ll explore what it means to feel, release, and come home to ourselves. Together, we’ll attune to sensation, create meaning from embodied experience, and give form to inner transformation.
Expect a grounding rhythm of yoga, guided somatic workshops, journaling, nourishing meals, free time in nature, and fireside connection. Leave feeling more resourced, rooted, and deeply reconnected.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Morning Workshop: Somatic Storytelling
Location: Hilltop Art & Meditation Studio
What if your body could write you a letter or draw you a map?
This guided session invites you to listen to your body’s unique language through sensation, posture, and imagery. We’ll explore how your inner landscape holds memory, emotion, and metaphor, revealing untold stories through somatic tracking, micro-movement, and creative visualization.
Afternoon Workshop: Body Meets Meaning, Sensation Finds Form
Location: Hilltop Art & Meditation Studio
How do we release what we’ve been holding?
This afternoon session supports emotional alchemy through breath, sound, and movement. You’ll learn grounding and orienting techniques that help regulate the nervous system while creating a somatic ritual to honor what is ready to be transformed. To close the practice, each participant will craft a symbolic object using natural materials gathered during the weekend, an embodied marker of what’s been felt, released, or reclaimed.

WHAT IS SOMATIC YOGA?
Somatic yoga blends mindful movement with sensory awareness, focusing less on perfecting form and more on deepening your relationship with how your body feels from the inside out. It encourages slowness, presence, and self-inquiry, making space to listen to tension, emotion, and sensation as meaningful messengers.
By integrating breath, movement, and stillness, somatic yoga helps regulate the nervous system, release stored stress, and support personal transformation. This practice is gentle, intuitive, and accessible to all levels.
