In the West, we are called to embrace change and release what no longer serves us. As the trees shed their leaves, we too are asked to let go of what is dying or outdated in our lives. This could be anything from unhealthy habits and limiting beliefs to relationships or situations that keep us stuck in old patterns.
The Fall Equinox is the perfect time to connect with the energies of the West. It is a moment of equilibrium, where day and night are equal before we descend into the darker, more introspective season.
The West encourages us to take stock of what we’ve harvested in our lives over the past year. It’s a time to express gratitude for our abundance, but also to reflect on what has reached its natural end.
The autumn equinox~~ that magical moment when day and night stand in perfect balance. It is time to say goodbye to summer so that we can look forward to the next journey in a whole new season.. This equinox invites us to pause to reflect, release, and realign once again with our truths.
A symbol of balance when day/night are in perfect balance. This mirrors to us our light and our shadows, our strengths and our vulnerabilities, finding peace in the chaos.
It becomes a time for cosmic balance.
A Time of Cosmic Balance this season asks us to seek balance within ourselves, where are we out of balance in our lives? It is time to recalibrate, to align our body, mind, and spirit in greater harmony.
The autumn equinox teaches us to accept the opposites of duality but turning them into the oneness of all that is. It is the perfect time as the leaves begin to fall that we also set the intention to let go of our old habits, programs, beliefs. It is a time to declutter and a perfect time to release.
The equinox encourages surrender but in letting go opens doors to transformation. Every ending is a beginning in disguise. It is a perfect time to honor endings so that new doors can open.
It is a great time to remind us of our own natural rhythms just as the earth shows us her natural rhythms of letting go and surrendering to the next moment in time.
Autumn equinox is also harvest time, a time of giving gratitude for the abundance in our lives, the opportunities, the lessons we have transformed.
As nature begins to slow down it is a time that we start to prepare ourselves for introspection and rest for the reflective months ahead. It begins to call for us to step into the portal of reflection as we count our harvest it also shows to us where we have grown, so that we can set our intentions for the period ahead
Come and join us.
As we do a gratitude ritual, a releasing ceremony, a meditation for balance, and setting intention for the next period with a cacao ceremony.
