At just 21 years old, Chandler Reliford was struck by Powassan virus, a rare tick-borne illness that attacked his brain. He endured 55 days in a medically induced coma and has (so far) spent over 90 days in the ICU. Chandler remains at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago, continuing to face serious medical challenges, including epilepsy, and has a long road of recovery ahead.
Throughout this difficult journey, Chandler’s parents and siblings have been faithfully by his side—praying over him and helping with his care. The Reliford family, who own their own business and are known for their hard work and generosity, have had to step away from work, leading to significant financial hardship.
Now it’s our turn to give back. Having been blessed by this family’s kindness, we ask you to join us in surrounding them with love and support during this time of great need.
