We are excited to offer, for the third year, this Fundamentals of Flight Training Ground School at the Morristown Regional Airport in Nov/Dec. Ground School is a vital aspect of aviation education and does not stop with earning the private pilot certificate (summarized from CAU Training Website).
We invite new pilots, aspiring pilots and Rusty Pilots to register for this class!
What will this Ground School look like?
We’ll meet for 4 sessions of interactive instruction and discussion, providing the tools and fundamental knowledge for a strong foundation that can jump start your flight training or refresh your knowledge if you find yourself as a Rusty Pilot seeking to get back in the air.
The focus of this series will be developing the robust skill set to plan a cross country flight.
Please note that continuing with flight training or being a rusty pilot is not a requirement to enroll. If you want to learn more about aviation, flight training, or simply find answers to questions about the fundamentals of flying, this class might be just what you are looking for.
Who is the target audience?
Adults and youth 15+ interested in learning the fundamentals of aviation. Rusty Pilots seeking refresher instruction.
When and where will the class meet:
Tuesday evenings 6pm – 9:00pm at the Morristown Regional Airport, Terminal Building.

Who will your instructor be?
CFII, Bob Dilk, who teaches flight training, ground school, various aviation workshops and seminars, and is based at the Morristown Regional Airport, will be your instructor for these sessions. Because he is a flight instructor, these sessions can be logged in your logbook as official ground school/instruction.
How much will this cost?
$90 pp: This 4-session series of classes plus materials (books and tools valued at more than $60) is offered at $90. This is an amazing value!!
