The workshop will take place in the new EAA Aviation Learning Center, located at 349 Piper Street.
It will be an awesome and super fun learning experience as you build and fly the FZ FlightTest Battle Blimp Rocket Balloon!
The following topics will be covered:
o Discussion of the forces of flight
o Introduction to aircraft weight & balance
o Build a remote control lighter than air "blimp" in teams of 2
o Learn to fly your blimp with precision
o Navigate an obstacle course and time your flights
o Reconfigure your aircraft for improved performance
o Reconfigure the obstacle course for additional challenges
NOTE: Due to the nature of the materials used to build your RC aircraft, we will provide links to purchase your own if desired, after the class, but the blimps will continue to 'live' at the EAA Aviation Learning Center.
