Join us for an intimate afternoon of music with singer/songwriter Maryalice Doherty, whose voice carries both tenderness and grit. Based in Beacon, NY, Maryalice brings her background as a hospice music therapist into each performance — inviting listeners to slow down, lean in, and truly feel.

With shimmering guitarwork and lyrics that move through love, loss, joy, and the quiet beauty of life’s in-between moments, her songs are shaped by the hills of the Hudson Valley and the influence of artists like John Prine and Neko Case.

Maryalice has performed across New York State, from farmers markets to festivals, art openings to listening rooms — and now she brings her heartfelt sound to The Gatehouse.
