As the year turns and the world settles into winter quiet, we’re invited to reflect on beginnings, endings, and everything calling for renewal. This generative writing workshop blends reflective writing with gentle restorative practices, including brief breathing exercises and simple meditation moments to help you settle in, open up, and write with clarity.
Participants will read model texts that explore themes of release, transformation, intention, and hope. We’ll look closely at the emotions that surface around the new year—anticipation, uncertainty, clarity, healing—and use them as fertile ground for new work. Through guided prompts and grounding practices, you’ll create fresh starts on the page: poems, short prose pieces, reflections, or hybrids drawn from your own lived experience.
Participants may share part of their writing in a small, supportive group and will receive gentle, constructive feedback to support deeper reflection and revision.
You’ll leave with several new drafts and a renewed sense of calm and creative direction.
$15 per person. Please bring paper and a writing utensil.
