About the event
Cancer Benefit Janell McBoom
Janell (McNulty) McBoom (36), a Morris native, was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer that has metastasized to her liver, pelvic bone, adrenal gland, and brain. This was a huge shock to all of us! Janell has never been a nicotine smoker, has not been exposed to any known carcinogens, and is only 36. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.
Janell, a social worker by trade, is currently unable to work because of the symptoms of her illness and the side effects of her treatment. Even working weekly overtime as a Direct Support Professional for adults with intellectual and development disabilities, her wife is unable to make up for Janell’s lost income. Funds raised by this event will help them be able to afford out of pocket cancer treatment costs and the costs of daily living.
Join us at Clayton’s Tap Morris on 2/28/26 to Benefit Janell McBoom!
