About the event

Seed Cleaning Workday at the Kankakee Sands Nursery

Saturday, August 9, from 10 am to noon, central time – Seed Cleaning Workday at the Kankakee Sands Nursery

This event is hosted by TNC in partnership with Friends of the Sands. We’ve been busy collecting seeds from spring through summer, and we have a good number of seed batches that could be sifted and sorted in preparation for planting this fall. We will be working under the shade pavilion of the Kankakee Sands Nursery with small batches of seed in plastic containers. Gloves, and snacks, will be provided.
