Join our 6th annual Doe Rodeo now in 3 different locations!
The Doe Rodeo was created to promote conservation, quality deer management and to celebrate whitetail deer hunting. Deer can be donated and butchered for area shelters and food pantries. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Michigan Raised At Full Draw youth bowhunting camp, which helps get kids into archery, hunting, and the outdoors. Proceeds will also support Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger.
How It Works
Sign up for the team competition, individual heaviest doe , or both!
Team Competition
The team event is typically 2-3 people (can be more). The hunt is from December 18-20th. Teams bring in your heaviest 3 field dressed does to be weighed Saturday Dec 20th between 4-8 pm. The team with the heaviest 3 does wins.
Entry Fee: $40 Per Team
($40 covers the whole team)
Individual Heaviest Doe
There will be one winner for the individual heaviest doe.
You can participate in both the team and heaviest doe competition. You must enter and pay the additional $20 to be in the heaviest doe competition,

Prizes
Team Competition
There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize for the team event at each location. The first place prize is a cash prize of half the money raised at the location you sign up. The 2nd place prize will be a fishing trip for 3-4 people. Fishing trips have to be used in 2025. The third place prize is a $50 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings.
Individual Heaviest Doe
There is only one prize awarded for heaviest doe at each location. It’s a cash prize of half of the money raised for the individual category.
Doe Check In
Bring in your does to be weighed on Saturday Dec 20th between 4:00pm and 8:00pm, Bring your does to the location that you signed up to participate at. Winners will be announced shortly after 8:00pm at each location. You don’t have to be present to win. You can bring in your does and then head out to your family Christmas party.
Other Benefits
Doe Rodeo T-shirts will be available for purchase for $19.99 during your online registration. They will either be available for pickup at your location or will be shipped directly to you.

Other Rules
You must be signed up for the event by midnight Wednesday Dec 17th. You cannot enter later than midnight Wednesday the 17th.
You can only enter female deer into this event. No button bucks or shed bucks.
All deer must be shot between Dec 18th and Dec 20th.
Bring All deer field dressed before arrival at weigh in.
