WV LRS Training Tuesday September 9, 2025

The West Virginia Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA) and West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) are pleased to announce a one day LRS Training Workshop in which LRS’s can obtain 5.5 professional development hours (PDH) needed to meet LRS renewal requirements. Stick around for the mobile workshop “Tanks to Trails at White Park" or "Meet the Cheat" and get 4.0 additional PDH. The LRS Training Workshop will be held Tuesday, Sept 9 at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place Conference Center, Morgantown, West Virginia. The 2025 West Virginia Brownfields Conference will be held the following two days, on Wednesday and Thursday, September 10th & 11th, at the same venue. Four of the conference sessions (Restoring Streams in the Urban Landscape, NEPA: Not another 4-letter word, State and Federal Updates, and Fairmont Recreational Reclamation) can provide additional PDH. Separate registration is required for the mobile workshop and Conference at 2025 WV Brownfields & Main Street Conference | West Virginia Brownfields.

The LRS Training Workshop fee includes a one-year membership to AWMA, as well as breakfast and lunch during the training event.

Check-in and registration starts at 7:30 AM. Program starts at 8:00 AM with a short AWMA Chapter meeting.

IMPORTANT: When registering, please provide contact information for each individual being registered so we ensure they receive their PDH credit and AWMA membership.

• De Minimis or Impactful? Exploring the risks of less common exposure pathways during CSM development
• Introduction to PART. PART is a property assessment tool that is being developed by the West Virginia Land Stewardship Corporation

In order for an LRS attendee to receive educational credit for license renewal, he or she must register and attend the entire day.
