First Friday at the Morgantown History Museum

Join the Morgantown History Museum for First Friday for the Arts! On Friday, September 5 from 6-9pm, the museum will be open late!

Take a stroll through historical exhibits from Monongalia County's past, including our new exhibit on the events that shaped the statehood of West Virginia as seen through the eyes of Morgantown's citizens.

Included are the stories of a lawyer, a potter, a musician, a dentist, a schoolteacher, and a mother that speak to their experiences during the Civil War and the Confederate raid of Morgantown in April 1863.

Admission is free and there will be light refreshments available.

If you cannot attend this event, the Morgantown History Museum's regular business hours are Wednesday-Friday 11am-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 12-6pm. See you there!
