Candlelight vigil in honor of Dr. Jane Goodall

Project Chimps would like to invite our volunteers, staff and general public to a candlelight vigil, to honor the memory of Dr. Jane Goodall, on Monday, October 6.

Dr. Goodall’s tireless dedication to chimpanzees and her unwavering compassion for all living beings inspired the foundation of our sanctuary. Her work touched hearts across the globe and changed the course of conservation forever. Her absence is deeply felt but her spirit lives on in every life she influenced.

Let us gather in candlelight to reflect, remember and celebrate the light she brought into the world. We’ll provide the candles. You bring your stories memories and love.

Together, we’ll honor a legacy that continues to guide us.

Monday, October 6, please arrive at 6:30pm at the sanctuary in Morganton behind the Historic Cabin and we will light our candles and hold a moment of silence at 7:00pm.
