We guide you step-by-step through the process of creating your very own custom barn quilt.
Please read through the event details as we have made a few changes.
Prior to the class you will
-Choose the size of your BQ
-Choose your design
We will prepare your ACM board so it will be ready to start painting on. The preparation process includes sanding, cleaning, & priming the material. As well as drawing your pattern on the prepared board. We do need to know ahead of time what you would like to paint so that we are not rushing to get things ready last minute. Failure to RSVP by the January 9th will limit your choices to patterns and sizes we have ready.
We provide frog tape, all paint, and tools needed to complete your BQ.

-an apron or smock if you are worried about getting paint on yourself

4' X 4' $190.00 spaces are very limited for this size.

1' X 1' $75.00 BQ, however, we do not recommend patterns with a lot of detail or points in the pattern

*There will an extra charge for drafting patterns that we do not already have. An estimate of the extra charge will be provided upon request.

**Registration is limited for these classes, and we work on a first come first serve basis.
We use aluminum composite material for our barn quilts. ACM is a lightweight material that withstand the elements here in the NEK much better than any wood product on the market. It is easy to use and easy to hang just about anywhere. We use only quality exterior paint for barn quilt projects.
You will be responsible for sealing your project as they need to cure before sealing them. Instructions for that process will be provided.
