This 2-hour workshop aims to help teachers and students understand how yoga supports anxiety, burnout, and nervous system resilience, through the lens of psychology, neuroscience, and physiology.
With burnout, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation at an all-time high, more and more yoga students are coming to the mat not just for fitness, but for healing. This training gives teachers the tools to support their students skillfully and safely, and students the tools to empower and care for themselves.
The workshop includes:
✔ An overview of nervous system states (sympathetic, dorsal, ventral)
✔ The causes and consequences of nervous system dysregulation
✔ The science behind how yoga, breath, and movement support resilience
✔ Practices that students and teachers can use right away
