Med Instead of Meds - Carteret County - 6 Part Series

Join us for the MED Instead of Meds class 6 part series! This class series will help you Go Med by exploring 7 Simple steps to eating the Med Way. Learn Med tips, life hacks, and recipes that will help you eat the Med Way every day. The simple, delicious, and satisfying Med Way of eating will keep you coming back for more!

Eating like those who live in the Mediterranean region has been shown to promote health and decrease the risk of many chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and high blood pressure.

Classes include instruction, hands on food preparation, cooking, and taste-testing at the end.

The MED Instead of Meds series is 6 sessions and will be offered on Tuesdays at 10:00-1:00pm in Room 320 at the Carteret County Center starting October 7th and ending November 18th (skipping November 11th due to holiday).

Registration: There is a registration fee of $20. This fee covers information, materials, and tastings for the entire program. Please understand this series meets 6 times and plan to attend each session to gain the most information.
