Community Notice: Bangerang Treaty Information Session

Location: Harmony Centre at Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-Operative, 20 Rumbalara Rd, Mooroopna

A treaty information session will be held for all members of the Bangerang Community regarding the Traditional Owner Treaty process with the State of Victoria. This is separate to the current Statewide Treaty between the First Peoples' Assembly and the State.

ALL Bangerang people are encouraged to attend. Attendance is available via Teams upon request for those unable to attend in-person.

Representatives of the Self-Determination Fund and the Treaty Authority will be in attendance to provide information and answer community's questions.

The session will include lunch and activities such as weaving and wood burning.

A further treaty information session will be held in Melbourne on Saturday 25 October for Bangerang people based in Melbourne and surrounds. A notice will be sent out soon.
