Shakespeareβs Romeo and Juliet gets trimmed and sharpened in this fresh adaptation from Theatre Bβs Artistic Director, Jon Micheels Leiseth. Set in an imagined world that fuses the styles from the Italian Renaissance and 1940βs Italy, this fresh take is full of momentum, movement, and music that is thoroughly modern. Amid this sumptuous danger, the βstar-crossed loversβ attempt to bridge the boundaries that the authority and family have set to keep them apart.
