Last Sunday we experienced a truly incredible move of God during our Youth Sunday Service entitled And a Child Shall Lead Them. Our own Sis. Denise and Sis. Iris performed a skit depicting a contemporary RUTH AND NAOMI. The Skit reflected the loyalty of Ruth and the Loyalty of God. We then watched a video depicting the VICE OF THE DEVICE. Many people are enslaved by their electronic devices and are missing out on the whole world around them. Pastor Al was a one-man band showing us that Jesus and the Cross are The Bridge Back to
God in a play called THE APPLE.
We followed that performance with a skit called THE PRODIGAL DAUGHTER, where several of our members acted out a scene showing God’s Unconditional Love. We finished the service with a video called EVERYTHING that depicted what Jesus was willing to do to save one of His lost sheep (Everything)! Thank You Jesus!!!
Looking ahead to this Sunday, we will resume our Spiritual Discipline Series with a message titled: The Discipline of Simplicity – Lily of the Valley
As we navigate this thing called life, we are constantly pulled in many different directions involving finances. We have bills to pay, savings to build, generosity to give, and money to make!
We feel these constant tugs at our time, our talent and our treasure. But Jesus made one thing abundantly clear, life doesn’t consist in the abundance of possessions. We must put our priorities in order.
