Perkins Center for the Arts is proud to announce its 2025 Annual Veterans and Active-Duty Military Exhibition, a exhibition dedicated to showcasing the artistic talents of those who have served and are currently serving in the U.S. armed forces. The exhibition will open on Monday, Nov 10, with a free public reception on Saturday, November 15, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moorestown location. This open call exhibition is a centerpiece of the center’s broader commitment to the military community and its Arts in Healing initiative.
The exhibition provides a platform for veterans and active military personnel to share their stories and experiences through art.
Perkins’ veteran-specific programming goes beyond this exhibition. As part of our Arts in Healing initiative, the center provides a safe, secure space for veterans to engage in creative expression and build community. Perkins offers free art classes and free group music lessons as a therapeutic outlet to help alleviate mental and physical pain. Additionally, all active-duty military, veterans, and their families are eligible for a free annual membership to the center, which includes discounts on programs and opportunities to exhibit work.
