This one day workshop is open to both equine professionals and horse owners and is focused on the function of the biomechanics of the hind end as it pertains with the musculoskeletal anatomy of the horse.
Students attending explore the anatomy of the horse’s hind end including the specific muscle groups, fascia, and correlation to each and the skeletal structure!! We also look at the sacrum, the si (sacroiliac) joint and the relationship to the pelvis, the sciatic nerve, and the various layers of the soft tissues i.e. fascia/ muscle.
It is taught in an applied anatomy approach with applied function to the anatomy
Instructor also covers identify the different adhesions in the soft tissues and how they effect and influence the horses biomechanics!
