I have always wanted to be part of a flash mob, and recently I almost got to be, but couldn't make it because I had something on the day of the dance that I wasn't prepared to change. So in my very Vickie way, instead of waiting for something to happen I decided to make it happen and create it myself, and I want you to join me.
This isn't just a day at the races; it's a chance to tick off this bucket list item, create some serious magic, and be part of an epic surprise that will have everyone cheering! We're bringing the fun, the flair, and the flash, and we need you to help us pull it off.
Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just love a good boogie in the kitchen, this is for you! The routine is super easy to learn and designed for everyone. We are going to ensure it's simple.

The Workshop: You'll need to be available on Saturday, 1st November, 2025, from 10 am. We'll all get together at a venue (to be announced) and learn our moves from a fantastic dance teacher. It's a fun session to get us all in sync!
The Big Day: On Tuesday, 4th November, 2025, we'll hit the Wharf Events Melbourne Cup! You get to enjoy all the fun—food, drinks, live tunes, and the race that stops a nation— and of course we unleash our surprise flash mob!
The Investment: The total cost will be under $150 per person. The exact price will depend on how many people join our crew, so the more the merrier!

Men and women welcome. (Also an open to bring your partners, who can join in the dance, or not) The deposit price above will cover the ticket to the event, so if anyone wants to come and not dance, that's an option too.
