Public Speaking/Presentations
We have 6 kids presenting this week. Your kids may also present or you and your kids may come and watch. We will have an opportunity for kids and adults to learn how to make origami infinity cubes.
Monument Public Library Meeting room is reserved
Friday, October 10th 10:30am to 11:30 am
Any age Goal is no more than
5 minutes for primary
If your Primary age child needs an audience to present or speak on a subject he or she is interested in or learning about, reach out. We currently have between 5 and 7 students planning to present. I think we can have up to 10 kids present this day.
Projector, white board, tables, chairs, HDMI cable with USB-C converter will be available for use. In my previous experiences with this, students presented on a variety of subjects in a variety of different ways:
Slide presentations
Teaching a dance
Telling a story
Facilitating the solving of a mystery
Teaching how to make a treat and serving the final product
Presenting with a poster
Parents work with children to decide what and how to present. We are just coming together to provide an audience for our kids to get practice leading. I am trying to organize these opportunities at least monthly.
