Avec les lampes chauffées à bloc de leurs vieux amplis, ils reproduisent le son brut du Blues des années '30, '40 et '50 qu'ils nous interprètent à la manière Father'n'Son.
Sur scène, leur complicité est palpable, c’est du Blues pur et brut, du VRAI à la Father’n’Son fortement inspiré des Juke Joints du Delta du Mississippi, du North Country Hill et des bars Blues de Chicago. On y retrouve une texture musicale particulièrement inattendue. On n’a pas le choix de taper du pied, car les rythmes y sont omniprésents et entrainants. Ils vous livrent le fruit de leur premier album sorti en 2023 “DANCING WITH THE DEVIL” avec l’énergie et l’expérience acquise lors de voyages à l’origine même du Blues: Le Mississippi.
This 2 man band, they are singers, song writers and composers. Their music evokes another era making us travel back in time to the juke joints of the Mississippi Delta, North Country Hill and the Blues bars of Chicago. What makes FATHERNSON special are their original compositions, lyrics especially by Eric (Father) and music especially by Olivier (Son).
They deliver raw Blues from the 30's, 40's and 50's performed in the unique "FATHERNSON" style .
A very special sound to be enjoyed, thanks to the blend of generations.
June 2023: FATHERNSON's 1st album: "Dancing with the Devil" took their music and their compositions around the world! It was broadcast by internet radios, so everywhere! From Quebec to radio stations based across Canada, from British Columbia to Newfoundland, including the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Alberta, Ontario and New Brunswick, as well as stations based in California, New York, Texas, Louisiana and further afield, in the Netherlands, Reunion Island, France, New Zealand and many stations in England.
