Now is the time to dream big for Montpelier’s future. The City of Montpelier began this work three years ago, gathering community ideas and input about how the Country Club Road property could serve residents for generations to come. We are excited to continue building on that foundation—together.
This resilient, city-owned property offers a unique opportunity to shape a place that reflects our community’s values, needs, and aspirations.

The design process will be hands-on and engaging—think of it like Monopoly, but with real possibilities!
You’ll use the tools in this packet for inspiration, then apply your ideas directly to a land map.
Workshops will be facilitated with support from architects and planners, so you’ll have guidance as you work through possibilities.
