🍁 Backyard Maple Production: Learn to Make Maple Syrup at Home!
Have you ever wanted to make your own maple syrup? Join OSU Extension Williams County for an exciting, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn every step of the syrup-making process — from tapping your trees to bottling your final product!
This engaging evening program will take place on Friday, November 7th, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 11246 State Route 15, Montpelier, OH 43543. The class will include both indoor presentations and live outdoor demonstrations, giving you the chance to experience the process firsthand.
🌳 Class Agenda Includes:
What, When, and How to Tap
How to Handle and Collect Sap
How to Boil Sap and Produce Syrup
Finishing and Packaging Syrup
Managing and Caring for Maple Trees
Each participant will also receive two taps and accompanying tubing to help get their own backyard syrup operation started!
