Glass on Glass Mosaic

Glass on glass mosaics utilize translucent stained glass pieces and a clear glass surface as a base. A clear, strong adhesive is used to bond the stained glass pieces to the transparent substrate. The translucent nature of the stained glass, combined with the transparency of the base, creates a piece that interacts with light, similar to traditional stained glass. Students will get an introduction to mosaic art, gain an understanding of glass on glass technique, and how to use hand tools. Pre-purchased tickets are required to attend this workshop and are non-refundable. The workshop is appropriate for participants 13 years and up. Safety glasses will be required to be worn, please no sandals/open toes shoes, and drinks are fine as long as they are in closed containers.
