Here is a short show explanation: Florida's Feuding Families 1776 is an interactive and interdisciplinary performance set in British-controlled St. Augustine during the American Revolution. As a bridge across language and culture barriers, the play guides audiences into drama’s most famous family feud, where highlights from Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet compete with new ideas from Lope de Vega’s Castelvines y Monteses (Capulets vs. Montagues).
