Title: "Faces & Figures"
“Faces & Figures” is a deeply personal and introspective solo exhibition by Malik Titus Bridges featuring a collection of self-portraits, Influental Figures, and Figure drawings. Through his expressive and nuanced works, Bridges explores the human form, capturing the subtleties of emotion, gesture, and expression. The exhibition is divided into three distinct sections each offering a unique window into the artists creative propane personal narrative.
Self-Portraits: Bridges’ self- portraits chart their candid intensity, inviting the viewer to confront the art introspective nature, as he grapples with themes of identity, and vulnerability.
�Influential Figures: This Section of the exhibition pays tribute to the individuals who have inspired and influenced Bridges’ artistic development. From family members and mentors to cultural icons and historical figures, these portraits demonstrate the artists deep respect for those who have shaped his worldview.
Figure Drawings: Bridges’ figure drawings are a testament to his mastery of his distinct technique and his ability to capture the beauty and complexity of the human form. These works, created from life studies and observations, showcase the artists keen eye for detail and his passion for explaining the nuances of human anatomy.
