Breen Prairie Seed Harvest

You're invited to Breen Prairie for a fall prairie seed harvest!

Together, we’ll hand-harvest native seeds from our Breen Prairie property to help diversify and expand the prairie ecosystem. You can collect seeds by hand or with clippers, gathering them into buckets or bags. This activity is beloved by our volunteers for its tranquility and the chance to connect more deeply with the prairie. We’ll begin the day with a brief introduction to Breen before heading out into the prairie.
