2026 PCHGS Spring Program - Elmer Priebe's Career at Allerton

Please join us for our Spring Meeting as local historian and DeLand Illinois native, Roger Wisegarver, presents the life story of Elmer Priebe - friend, chauffeur, and farm manager of Robert Allerton. Slides will be shown.

This event is being held at the Wabash Center on March 3rd at 7 PM with doors open by 6:40 PM. There is handicap access on the East side of the Wabash Center, and the main entrance is on the north side of the building. There will be plenty of parking in the city’s municipal lot that surrounds the building.

This is a free event that is open to the public and we will provide refreshments. We hope to see you there!
