On March 25, 2025, Mark Svatek was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma. Since receiving this diagnosis, Mark has had several setbacks that have delayed his treatment. Mark has shown tremendous strength and resilience through courage, love, and hope. Mark still chooses to put others before himself, so now it's time to ensure he comes first.
Mark is the VP of the Dedicated Sons LEMC-Fox River, a brotherhood made up of active and retired law enforcement, firefighters, veterans, and the sons of these dedicated public servants.
This fundraiser will help cover the extreme costs of medical treatments, travel expenses for appointments, and everyday living expenses during his time away from work.
Tickets are only a $20 donation and can be purchased by calling 815-378-5957 or through Jenny or Rob at the VFW. The event will feature food, live entertainment, a drawing for cash prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and raffle baskets. Draft beer and soda while supplies last.
