The River Run 5K, 10K and Kids' Dash take place annually on the first Saturday of October up and down the scenic Fox River. The USA Track and Field (USATF) certified course starts and finishes in front of the Village Hall, 200 N. River St., Montgomery. This is the perfect race for all ages and abilities. Pets, kids, and strollers are welcome to walk/run the 5K course!
The course runs along both sides of the scenic Fox River. Splits will be given at every mile. The race will be chip timed by Race Timing. Registration options are available for Individuals (Kids' Dash, 5K or 10K) and Teams with discounted pricing (must have 4 members on the team to qualify).
Water stations and first aid are available on the course.
Post-race refreshments and race goodie bags are available.
Age Groups and Award Categories
- Awards to the top two male and female runners in 5K and 10K
- Top 3 Runners in each age bracket (9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over).
