Montgomery Fest is a three-day community favorite and longtime fest in Montgomery Park in Montgomery, IL. The event brings neighbors and friends together to enjoy a weekend of family fun. This year, the fest will celebrate its 40th year and will offer a variety of events, including live entertainment, a carnival, food vendors, a beer tent, Family Fest, a parade, a car show, a carp fishing derby, and fireworks.

Guests are encouraged to bring bag chairs in addition to the blankets. In addition, the fest will provide picnic tables scattered throughout the park and along the river for guest use.
All Fest Activities, unless otherwise noted, take place at Montgomery Park, located just west of the Fox River at 301 N. River Street. The Car Show (Saturday) is located in Austin Park, just east of the river, at 1345 S. Broadway. The Craft Show & Market will be in the VFW Post #7452 parking lot, located at 121 N. River St. Family Fest and the Parade Grand Stand will be on River Street in front of Village Hall.
BEER TENT PARTNER
The Montgomery Foundation will host the Beer Garden/ Tent Area for those 21 years and older. The beer tent will be located within the food vendor row. All proceeds from the beer booth benefit the Montgomery Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that supports education and community service programs.
CARNIVAL ENTRY FEE
Unlimited ride wristbands are only offered during specific hours and days of the fest: daytime wristbands are $30 (good for Saturday & Sunday 1-4:30P), and evening wristbands are $35 (good for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 5-9P).
FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE
Complimentary shuttle bus service is provided to downtown Montgomery on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from two locations:
- Lakewood Creek Elementary School (2301 Lakewood Creek Dr.)
- Blains Farm & Fleet (400 US Route 30)
Shuttle busses will run every half hour on Friday from 5-10P, Saturday and Sunday from 11A-10:30P.
PARKING
Limited parking for the fest is available on the streets and in the Lyon Metal parking lot (421 N. Main St.), just off the grounds.
ATMs LOCATED ON SITE
ATMs are located near the food vendor area, the entrance to the park, and the carnival area. ATM sponsor is @EarthmoverCreditUnion.
RULES & RESTRICTIONS
Fox Valley Park District's Montgomery and Austin Park are smoke-free parks. A designated smoking area is located at the northeast corner of River & Mill.
Pets onsite in or around the fest must be leashed at all times. Due to the size and nature of the event, we strongly encourage pet owners to leave pets at home in a comfortable environment.
