The English Department is very proud to host one of our country's most esteemed humanities professors, Dr. Shelley Fisher Fishkin, to Montclair State University next week (9/10, 2-3:30 PM, School of Business 124). She will discuss the legacy of one of Mark Twain's most memorable and complicated characters, Jim of "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," and why his legacy--and literature more broadly--matters so much today.
