The Monkbirds

The Monkbirds aren’t so much a band as they are an annual gathering of musical misfits and longtime pals who meet once a year to bottle lightning in the form of an album. Andrew K. (guitar, vocals), Justin Steven Schoenfelder of The Ghost Bunnies (drums, bass, backing vocals), and E.H. Morningstar from Butterduck (lead guitar, piano, backing vocals). Together, they conjure a sound that’s messy, melodic, and magnetic—equal parts swagger and sincerity.
