Join us monthly as we travel back in time remembering our youth. Each month we will discuss a new topic down memory lane that will evoke fond memories through the decades. Donuts and coffee will be served.

Topic: History of Turtle Creek
In 1769, the widow Martha Miers purchased 360 acres of land along the Turtle Creek. They became the first European settlers within the Turtle Creek Valley. This established the town of Turtle Creek, which has continued for 255 years to the present day. Did George Washington, in fact, sleep there? Join Henry Bowden from the Monroeville Historical Society and find out!
