New Year’s Eve Cheese Drop 2025

Join us in a family friendly celebration for New Year’s Eve!

We’ll be dropping a cheese block at 5pm with the help of the Monroe Fire Department. 5 PM central is midnight in Switzerland!

Plus! There will be Blumer root beer, a beer garden, hot chocolate from Junior Optimists, fire pits, and Alphorn players performing, singers, cheese samples, a brown Swiss Cow thanks to Wegmueller Farm, and crafts.

Event is being brought to you by Cactus Co Booze N' Bites and Bartel's & Co Tap, hospitality tent by Kirt and JoAnne Leuenberger, with support from Chalet Cheese Co-op, Minhas Brewery, Baumgartner Cheese Store, with special thanks to Janice Douglas and Tom Witt at Monroe High School.
