Join us for a transformative 6-hour workshop blending professional development with the healing power of horses. Designed for social workers, counselors, and helping professionals, this experiential training will equip you to support clients experiencing grief and lossβwhether in an office setting or alongside a horse.
π§ Morning Session (9 AM β 12 PM): Classroom-Based Training
*Understand core grief theories (Kubler-Ross, Wordenβs Tasks)
*Explore the role of horses in emotional processing
*Learn ethical considerations and social work responsibilities in grief support
π₯ Lunch Provided (12 β 1 PM)
π΄ Afternoon Session (1 β 4:30 PM): Hands-On Equine Experience at Double Hearts Ranch
*Engage with horses to mirror and process emotional cues
*Practice grounding, presence, and symbolic connection
*Participate in herd observation, grooming, and legacy-building activities
