WCAWC Vet Adventure Day!

The White County Animal Wellness Center and the Monon Veterinary Clinic staff will be hosting its first ever Vet Adventure Day on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Come join us on this thrilling tour through the amazing world of veterinary medicine. With activities catered to every age group, including adults, you’ll be sure to find and explore your favorite species and all the awesome work that goes into caring for animals. Complete all the tasks in your veterinary program to receive your very own Vet Adventure Day Certificate. Two impressive canine officers from Monticello Police Department will be putting on a live demo (open to the public) at the end of our exciting morning. Sign up today for your next big adventure!

Info: Parents MUST accompany in this group. There will be 5 certification stations. Includes: surgery photograph, certificate of completion, decorated human/dog treat, free entrance to Animals Alive! Completion time: 60-75 minutes.

Info: Parent attendance is optional. There will be 6 certification stations. Includes: polaroid with favorite species, certificate of completion, decorated human/dog treat, free entrance to Animals Alive! Completion time: 60 - 90 minutes.

Info: If parents want to attend, you must register separately. There will be 6 certification stations. Includes: certificate of completion, decorated human/dog treat, free entrance to Animals Alive!, and live viewing of animal surgery. Compeltion time: 60 - 90 minutes.

Info: At 12pm there will be a live Canine Officer Demonstration from 2 Monticello Police officers! This event is open to the public.
