Free basic life support training

The Riverside Hotel has recently had a new public access defibrillator installed, thanks to a grant application from Monmouth Town Council. Defibrillators can be used by anybody, with or without training, but this session is intended to increase confidence to perform the basic skills that could save a life. Kindly hosted by the Riverside and delivered by an experienced local first aid trainer, you'll learn the basics of assessing a collapsed casualty, managing their airway and performing CPR / using a defibrillator when needed.
