Talk by The Irish Times Books Editor Martin Doyle

Join us on 2nd October 2025 at 7pm at the library for this insightful talk by the Books editor at The Irish Times.

Martin Doyle is also a respected author, who was born in Northern Ireland and whose career in the U.K. and Ireland provides a deep understanding of the Irish diaspora and their influence and impact - the theme this year at the Princess Grace Irish Library in Monaco.

Martin will offer insights into the art of the interview, writers’ personalities, tradition and trends, and give his assessment of the best Irish fiction of the past 50 years, with a particular focus on Irish fiction set abroad.
