Start: 1:00pm
Location: Dharco HQ, 283 Mona Vale Rd
Organise a self-shuttle with your crew to Dharco, Terrey Hills
Expected roll-out approx. 1:00PM (TBC)
Finish approx. 3:30PM at Surfboat Brewery
Link up with the main group as they refuel, then hit black trails to the finish. Or follow the Full Gorilla’s double-black line — same distance, spicier flavour. Short ride, still wild.
HALF – 30km / 750↑
Start: 11:30am
Location: Acron Oval, St Ives
Organise a self-shuttle or car drop with your crew to Acron Oval, St Ives
Expected roll-out approx. 11:30AM (TBC)
Finish approx. 3:30PM at Surfboat Brewery
Join the Full Gorilla crew as they pass through. Full-on Garigal rock slabs, tech, and grin-worthy chaos. Mid-size lap with max trail quality.
FULL – 60km / 1500↑
Start: 8:30am
Location: Surfboat Brewery, Warriwood

Finish approx. 3:30PM at Surfboat Brewery
Big climbs, rowdy descents, sandstone tech, and all the best lines Garigal has to offer - no filler.
Surfboat > Acron Oval > Dharco > Surfboat
If you haven’t done a 60km MTB ride before, maybe don’t start here.
AFTERPARTY
Estimated to be rolling back to Surfboat Brewery around 3:30 PM — beers, food, and good times from there.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A big social ride linking some of the Northern Beaches’ most iconic and challenging Garigal trails – from local classics to fresh tech. Expect singletrack, rocks, climbs, flow, party trains, and good crew vibes.
It’s not a race – we’ll ride steady, with regroup points and multiple exit options if you're out of banana juice. Lead riders and sweepers will help keep the group together. If you plan to peel off early, just let someone know.
WHO’S THIS FOR?
This ride’s for experienced riders who love tech, rocks, and a bit of chaos. It’s black and double-black trails all the way – steep, rough, and rowdy.
The Mini Gorilla is the mellowest option with fewer climbs and a later start, though it still includes black-rated terrain and requires confident bike handling.
Not riding? Come for the post-ride food, beers, and banter at Surfboat Brewery — everyone’s welcome.
THIS IS NOT A RACE
It’s a big social lap with good crew, good trails, and good food and beer at the end. Pace will be steady with plenty of stops, but be ready for a decent ride – especially if you’re tackling the Full Gorilla.
Bring water, snacks, spares, tools, and a well-running bike.
AFTERPARTY
We’ll roll straight into beers, banter, and post-ride food at Surfboat Brewery – with parking on-site and tunes rolling. Stick around for a fun night.
Ride routes will be released closer to the day.
