Women in STEMM Stroll aims to connect and empower women working in or studying science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) by providing opportunities to broaden their networks, find mentors, and share their experiences.
Country Universities Centre Southern Shoalhaven is hosting the event in collaboration with Women in STEMM Australia and is sponsored by Ulladulla Local Aboriginal Land Council, Business Milton Ulladulla, South Shoalhaven, and Salt & Spencer.
Women in STEMM face many challenges across the board, but these difficulties can be even more pronounced in regional areas, including limitation in resourcing, lack of role models, career challenges, isolation and maintaining work-life balance. STEMM Strolls aims grow networks and connect likeminded people, an integral piece in overcoming barriers and fostering collaboration

When: Saturday 4th October 9.30am – 11.00am
Parking
Free Parking can be found at the Mollymook Beach Reserve Carpark, near the Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club.
9.30am
Meet at south end of Mollymook Beach, on the grassy area near Mollymook Beach Surf Club. We will have signage available to assist with our meeting point.
9.40am
Walk starts north along Mollymook Beach; we will turn around at the point indicated on the map. Adjustments to our route may be made due to the tide and weather conditions on the day.
10.30am
Arrival back at the south end of Mollymook Beach, where we will continue our networking with refreshments Salt and Spencer, located below the Mollymook Golf Club.
11.00am
