Meet the Makers - Sea + Soil: A South Coast Culinary Journey

The South Coast Meet the Makers Festival returns every weekend throughout September. This vibrant event offers over 35 unique culinary and artisan experiences, from hands-on workshops in sourdough, ceramics, and floral art to exclusive dining events.

Join us for a delicious lunch celebrating local seafood and artisanal craft, as Rick Stein Executive Chef Chris Turton teams up with Jesse Hegg from Duro Pasta. Together, Chris and Jesse will showcase the harmony between fresh produce and beautifully made pasta all from the South Coast.

Rick Stein’s food philosophy is renowned fresh seafood, simply cooked. It’s this ethos that brought him to Mollymook — drawn by the abundance of beautiful seafood from nearby Ulladulla, one of the South Coast’s busiest fishing ports. In the same spirit of simplicity and quality, Duro Pasta crafts small-batch, artisanal pasta using 100% Australian durum wheat, bronze-extruded for perfect texture, each piece of Duro Pasta tells a story of traceable ingredients, tradition, and outstanding flavour — the perfect pairing for a memorable meal.

$95 per person includes a glass of bubbles on arrival and a two-course lunch of main and dessert plus a masterclass presentation with Chris Turton and Jesse Hegg.
