Hey folks! We're happy you're here, and we’re back with another MoFolk night on Wednesday, October 15!
Join us at 630PM at Dragonfly Art for Life for an evening of original music in an intimate, listening room setting.
MoFolk is proud to uphold Modesto’s legacy as a vibrant creative community, bridging the gap between Los Angeles and San Francisco to support musicians from near and far.
We’re evolving as a hub where touring artists can connect with new audiences and find reliable, welcoming stages.
Our next installment will showcase hardworking independent musicians on the road, and we hope you’ll come out to share with them Modesto’s charm and reputation as a welcoming, artist-friendly city.
ROCKO WHEELER
Hailing from East Texas, Rocko Wheeler's music carries the dust and drawl of his roots, blending Baptist hymns, bluegrass jams, and poetic storytelling. From The Book of Rocko Wheeler to his forthcoming album West Coast Gold (July 2025), Wheeler’s songs reflect a life on the road, golden-hour melancholy, and the art of creating something worth listening to twice.
PARLOR is the soulful collaboration of singer/songwriters Emily Laliotis and Alexander Parlee. Blending the storytelling roots of folk, country, and Americana with a modern edge, their songs feel timeless yet fresh. Drawing inspiration from artists like Ray LaMontagne and Brandi Carlile, PARLOR’s sound is lush, heartfelt, and familiar.
Bring a music-loving friend, and settle in for a night of community, art, and music.
