Mobile Government Plaza Tree-lighting Celebration

The Mobile County Commission presents the Government Plaza Tree-Lighting Celebration on Monday, Dec. 8, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Atrium of Mobile Government Plaza.

Expect a cheerful evening filled with Christmas carols, photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, cookies, cocoa, apple cider, and lighting the Government Plaza Christmas Tree, a holiday favorite and one of the most popular photo spots of the season.

FREE and open to all! This is a great outing for coworkers, departments, families, and friends.

• An elf will be available to snap festive photos using guests’ phones.

Can’t make the event? Stop by during regular business hours anytime while the tree is up and capture your own holiday moment.
